Helena-and-Dan.com exists partially because Helena wanted a wedding site, but mostly because Dan wanted to learn ASP.NET 2.0. He was clever enough to say to Helena, "Hey, how would you like it if I built us a wedding site with our own domain name and everything?" The rest was easy. So the site should be updated fairly often while I'm trying out new stuff Check here if you want to see what has been updated recently.

27 NOV 2006: Whoops! When I said 800 X 600 resolution below, I wasn't kidding! Had the actual page width set to 800. Now updated to 760 to get rid of the nasty horizontal scroll bar.
26 NOV 2006: Just updated the formatting for 800 X 600 resolution.
22 SEP 2006: Finally got around to buying a TerraPass for my car so added a link to them on the main page.
20 SEP 2006: I've been intending to add a net neutrality link for a while, but hadn't gotten around to it. Then tonight I found an article on Slashdot noting how the general public seems to be pretty confused about the issue, so decided I had better go ahead and do my small part. Save the net!
19 SEP 2006: Finally getting around to taking credit for breaking the click action of the photo on the main page. Did that a while back when I added the GeoURL external link. I thought it would be a super easy change so no need to save a backup, right? Too bad I had forgotten about all the other changes I had been experimenting with!
10 MAR 2006: Minor formatting updates to the navigation menu links, and added an external link to FortWorthAikido.org (which I'm developing for the Stillness of Spirit dojo) on the home page.
07 MAR 2006: Added the webcam page so I can spy on my cats.
09 FEB 2006: Mostly back end changes. The random quote on the home page is now handled by a single stored procedure in the database, and is stored in the view state bucket on page post backs. The visible changes were adding a drop shadow to the image on the home page using a technique I found here. Also formatted this list of changes to make it a little easier to read.
06 FEB 2006: Fixed the back-end database so the site will actually WORK in ASP.NET 2.0. Plus a few other minor formatting changes (mainly on this page.)
05 FEB 2006: Conversion of site to ASP.NET 2.0.
